Education Centre Electrical Contractors in East Sussex

Bradbury Electrical was appointed as the Electrical Contractor in East Sussex for the construction of the new Veterinary Nursing & Therapies Centre at Plumpton College, delivered as part of the South East Institute of Technology initiative.

This £4.4 million project formed a key element of the college’s ongoing expansion to provide world-class teaching facilities for animal science and veterinary education. The new Animal Education Centre and Clinical Training Suite were designed to support advanced learning, including specialist laboratories, virtual dissection tables, and purpose-built classrooms that encourage hands-on, technology-driven training.

The centre features state-of-the-art canine facilities, comprising a 7-metre sunken hydrotherapy pool, underwater treadmill, consultation rooms, and a commercial clinic open to the public. This unique setup enables students to gain real-world experience working directly with clients and animals, developing essential clinical, communication, and customer service skills in a professional setting.

This project forms part of a broader national investment under the Institute of Technology programme, which aims to bridge the gap between education and industry—enhancing career pathways and supporting skills development across the South East.
